This page is a structural placeholder. A real privacy policy has to describe what this specific site actually collects, which depends on the analytics, hosting and plugins finally installed. Drafting it before those decisions are made would produce a document that is wrong on the day it is published.
What a real version needs to cover
- What is collected — analytics, comments, newsletter sign-ups, contact messages
- Who processes it — the host, the analytics provider, any email service
- Cookies, and how a visitor declines the non-essential ones
- Retention periods, and how to request deletion
- The legal basis, and which jurisdictions apply given a UK contact number
WordPress generates a starting draft at Settings → Privacy. It is a starting point, not a policy.
